Reflections from the 2007-2008 Team

The STS-10 Mission is over.  However, the fifth and fourth grade students who are members of the Space Team will never forget the experience.  Listed below are some of the reflections written during the mission. 

"I enjoyed working as a team."

STS-11

Space team applications will begin the end of August 2009 and members will be selected by the middle of September.

Requirements to be on the Russell Space Team include:

Positive behavior

Hard worker

Will go to above and beyond normal school work

Commitment and Dedication

2nd Day of Mission May 9, 2008

The 2007-2008 Space Team is preparing for the STS-10 launch!  The students and teachers in the picture below have spent many hours in study and commitment to the project.  We salute these students and teachers!

STS-10 2007-2008

I am looking forward to my second year as The Russell Space Team Advisor. Applications have been accepted and the announcement of STS-10 members will be made shortly.

Our meetings will be on Thursdays from 2:30-4:45pm in the beginning of the year. We will have practices 2 or 3 times during the month of April.

We will special guest speakers, field trips, and of course our launch on May 8th and 9th 2008.
